Premarital & Post-Marital Agreements
Prenuptial and postnuptial agreements both serve to organize a couple’s finances and define how they will be split should a divorce occur. The distinction between these two agreements is that prenuptial occurs before marriage and postnuptial can be entered into during the marriage. There are variety of issues that can be contained in a prenuptial or postnuptial agreement such as documenting separate property, maintaining separate property that could be converted into community property upon marriage, converting separate property into community property, or spousal support. RMA Law works with our clients to develop a customized strategy to fulfill your most important objectives including negotiating and drafting of prenuptial and postnuptial agreements to ensure your future interest are protected.
